Meet the School Board
Mark Davis
Dylan Crocker, PhD
Dylan is a member of Heritage Baptist Church and has attended since 2021 alongside his wife Grace and their five children, all of whom attend TCCS. He holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Tech and is excited to help further TCCS's growing STEM programs.
Joy Bond
Joy received her B.A. in English and Education from William Jewell College and her M.S. in Special Education as well as her Ed. S. in K-12 Leadership from Northwest Missouri State University. She has been a public school educator for 23 years. She is certified in and has taught both middle and high school English, as well as speech/drama, business, and special education. She currently serves as a special education process coordinator in the Waynesville R-6 School District.
Joy has been. Member of Heritage Baptist Church since July, 2024, and has served in the 2-3 year old classroom as well as an interim adult women’s Sunday School teacher.

David King
David and his wife, Trista, along with their two sons —who previously attended TCCS— have been attending Heritage Baptist Church since 2019. David earned a BSBA in Accounting and an MBA from Northwest Missouri State University. He served as the junior high boys basketball coach at TCCS in 2023 and 2024 and continues to actively serve at Heritage as a trustee and as one of the leaders for the 4th–6th grade group on Wednesday and Sunday nights. He is excited to be part of TCCS by serving on the board.
Carla Evans
Carla Evans and her husband, Craig, have been members of Heritage Baptist Church since 2016. She has taught 5th, 6th and 2nd grades as well as Early Literacy for At-Risk students for 33 years at Joel E Barber and Esther Elementary. She received her BS in Elementary Education at Mizzou, Middle School certification at BSU and Masters in Education at Drury. In 2018 she received an Education Specialist degree in Literacy at University of Arkansas Little Rock and has been providing professional development for reading interventionists in several districts in Southwest Missouri for the past 9 years. She is looking forward to being a part of TCCS and its continuing success.
