Heritage Kids: The Gospel Project
All Heritage Kids classes (preschool-5th) are currently using the Gospel Project, an engaging curriculum that takes kids through the entire Bible over the course of three years . The program is designed to help parents teach their kids the Big Picture of the Bible as they all go on the journey together. Check out this video to learn more!
Nursery
Nursery is provided for babies under two years of age.
Preschool
Our preschool classes are for children ages 2-5. Our 2-3 year olds are taught by Freeman and Dinvir Slavens. r. 4-5 year olds are taught by Kara Beth Crowell and Tori Merriott. Using the Gospel Project, they are planting seeds of faith in the children by laying age-appropriate groundwork of basic knowledge during early childhood.
Grades K-1st
The kindergarten class is taught by Dave and Jacquie Tennison. Students are at this age are learning the basics of faith and how to love and follow the Jesus.
Grade 2-3
The second grade class is taught by Thom and Jess Murphy.
Grade 4
Our 3rd graders are taught by Brett and Lesli Hendrix and Kayla Hill.
Grades 4-5
Steve and Denise Douglass teach our 4th and 5th grade class.
Youth 6-12th grades
The youth class meets in the Youth Room on the 2nd floor of the Family Life Center and is taught by our Next Generation Pastor, Charlie Pentecost. HSM Bible Study is designed to help your student build a solid foundation in the Word. Currently we are going through the Gospel Project, a study designed to show how the entire Bible leads us to faith in Christ.
Adult Classes
Below you will find a list of Adult Bible study classes which meet each Sunday morning at 10:00 AM in the church basement directly underneath the sanctuary. Feel free to find someone at the Connection Center who can point you in the right direction.
Gospel Project for Adults
This Gospel Project class aligns with the children/youth classes, which makes it an ideal option to use for discipleship at home. Even if you don’t have children, this class is an excellent option to dive into the Word. John Carter, a former Air Force Colonel, leads the class, and he is the Bible Study director for the church. John is long-time teacher full of wisdom and experience. Mark Davis, who is a school counselor and father of four, also brings great insight into the class.

The Ladies’ class provides a great opportunity for ladies to fellowship and study the Word together.

Book Study: Ecclesiastes
This is a study in Ecclesiastes taught by Don Brenton. Don is an avid student of the Word and brings both insight and humor to bear on the text.
