Heritage Kids: The Gospel Project
All Heritage Kids classes (preschool-5th) are currently going through the Gospel Project, a curriculum that goes chronologically through the entire Bible. Heritage Youth (6th-12th) use The Gospel Project for Students, and we also offer Gospel Project class for Adults to provide a natural opportunity to discuss the Bible during the week. The program is designed to help parents teach their kids the Big Picture of the Bible as they all go on the journey together. Check out this video to learn more!

Our preschool classes are for children ages 2-5. Our 2-3 year olds are taught by Jessica Jennings and Elle Palmer. 4-5 year olds are taught by Kara Beth Crowell and Tori Merriott. Using the Gospel Project, they are planting seeds of faith in the children by laying age-appropriate groundwork of basic knowledge during early childhood.
The kindergarten class is taught by Dave and Jacquie Tennison. Students are at this age are learning the basics of faith and how to love and follow the Jesus.
The second grade class is taught by Brett and Leslie Hendrix and Matt and Kayla Hill. In this class students continue to learn the truths of Scripture and build a strong foundation.
Our 3rd graders are taught by Thom and Jessica Murphy. Students continue to grow in their faith as they apply the truths of the word to new situations in their lives.
Steve and Denise Douglass teach our 4th and 5th grade class. Steve and Denise are veteran teachers who do a great job of engaging students and teaching them the truths they need as they approach their teenage years.
Youth 6-12th grades
The youth class meets in the Youth Room on the 2nd floor of the Family Life Center and is taught by our Next Generation Pastor, Charlie Pentecost. HSM Bible Study is designed to help your student build a solid foundation in the Word. Currently we are going through the Gospel Project, a study designed to show how the entire Bible leads us to faith in Christ. Parents also have the option of going through the Gospel Project with an adult class. We would love for your student to join us as we dive into God’s word together!
Below you will find a list of Adult Bible study classes which meet each Sunday morning at 10:00 AM in the church basement directly underneath the sanctuary. Feel free to find someone at the Connection Center who can point you in the right direction.
